May 31 (Saturday) Book Signing @ the Book Rack

Khaki=KillerMy new novel, KHAKI = KILLER (www.KhakiEqualsKiller.com) is available for purchase through Amazon in both Kindle and paperback formats, and I will be launching it with a book signing from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Book Rack in Moline on Saturday, May 31st.

The book is the third in THE COLOR OF EVIL series, which details the adventures of Tad McGreevy, the boy who “sees the future” through auras around others. Those with “the color of evil” inspire frightening nightmares as Tad “sees” the crimes of the evil-doers.

Each book has built upon the last, with THE COLOR OF EVIL (Book One) released 2 years ago, and RED IS FOR RAGE, Book #2, release one year ago.

This third installment in the series, KHAKI = KILLER, continues to follow Tad McGreevy, Jenny SanGiovanni, Stevie Scranton and Janice Kramer, as well as the other students in their senior year of high school at Sky High Lab School (Cedar Falls, IA) as they prepare to graduate and go their separate ways.

Lurking in the background and still determined to silence the young man who, he thinks, can tell the authorities where he is hiding, is Michael Clay (aka, Pogo) the Killer Clown of the first story, who threatens all Tad holds dear.

Come join me for the third book in this award-winning series at the Book Rack in Moline (IL) from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 31st. Also, please be aware that you will be able to download Book #3 for FREE via Kindle July 8-12, the week of International Thriller Writers’ Conference in New York City, where it will be displayed on an easel so that the artwork by Vincent Chong (cover artist for Ray Bradbury, Stephen King, William F. Nolan and a host of others) can be enjoyed. The books have won E-Lit, Pinnacle, LuckyCinda and Silver Feather awards and “Shelf Unbound” magazine named RED IS FOR RAGE a “page-turner of 2013” and one of the best independent covers of the year (Paula Phanback’s).

Hope to see you on Saturday, May 31, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Book Rack in Moline (IL) , or, at the IWPA (Illinois Women’s Press Association) tent at Printers’ Row in Chicago, where I will be accepting my second Silver Feather Award at a luncheon at the Union League Club on Saturday, May 17th, 2014, the 2nd time in 3 years my writing has won this prestigious award.
